Western Michigan University’s Fall Welcome Coordinator Gina Cavanaugh sits down with us on Bronco Hotspot to talk about being a Fall Welcome Ambassador.
Fall Welcome a four-day transition program designed to build connections between first-year students and the WMU community. Fall Welcome is a great way to get acclimated to WMU before the semester kicks off. Ambassadors can be assured that by the time classes start you and your freshman counterparts will be a vital part of the WMU community
The Fall Welcome program is looking for enthusiastic students from all majors to apply and participate.
Ambassadors also receive giveaways and prizes during training and an appreciation gift card. You also get community service hours for participation.
Interviews will take place the week of March 24, 2014. Applicants will receive an email on March 17, 2014 to sign up for your interview time.
Training starts begins Aug. 22nd and end Aug. 24. Fall Welcome is from Aug. 25 to Aug. 29.
